Mrs Wendy Collins - Headteacher

I am proud to be the headteacher at Kingswood Primary School. In the past I have worked in schools across Hertfordshire, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire. I love teaching and consider it a privilege to have  a part in developing the lives of children. My teaching philosophy is that children learn best when they are happy, in positive relationships with others, and engaging in learning which is stimulating and carefully planned. Children have a natural thirst for knowledge and we have an amazing opportunity to shape their lives and create opportunities that they can build upon as they move into adulthood. 

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and taking my dog Trevor for walks. I also love reading and art, but am not actually very good at drawing! I like visiting art galleries- my favourite artists are Van Gogh and Monet. 

Mrs Fieldhouse

Ms Ingram is the class teacher for Oak class, our youngest children in Reception. She is our school's Early Years leader.

Miss Dovaston teaches our Year 1 and 2 pupils in Maple Class.

Miss Taylor teaches our Year 3 and 4 pupils in Beech Class. She is the English subject leader.

Mrs Knight teaches Birch class, who are the children in Years 5 and 6. Mrs Knight is our mathematics subject lead.

Mrs Scott is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) and Science  subject lead.
