Job Title: Part Time Teacher

Kingswood Primary School is looking to employ an enthusiastic, inspirational and caring class teacher to work across the school. This position will involve the following teaching hours and responsibilities:

Monday- Wednesday mornings             

Y1/2 Phonics/ Maths (in single year groups)

Y5/6 Maths (in single year groups)

Wednesday afternoon

PPA cover Y1/2

Thursday and Friday all day

Y1/2 Class teacher

We are a small school with mixed year group classes. This role will involve teaching phonics and maths in Key Stage 1 and 2, in single year group lessons of approximately fifteen children. The two days in Y1/2 are a job share with our existing teacher. This position will initially be fixed term until August 2026.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Is dedicated to the welfare and achievement of every child
  • Is able to inspire, challenge and motivate all children
  • Is  forward thinking and committed to raising standards
  • Has good organisational and communication skills and will be able to work closely in partnership with other members of staff
