We have a school uniform which we would like all children to wear. Children’s clothes and equipment must be clearly named with sewn name tapes being preferable.

All year round: Kingswood sweatshirts or royal blue pullover/cardigan, plain grey trousers/skirt, plain white or blue shirt/blouse, white, blue or grey socks. Flat shoes in sensible styles and dark colours (no fashion heels or thin straps).

In Summer: As above or plain grey shorts, plain white or blue short sleeved shirt/blouse or Kingswood tee-shirt, blue and white striped dress.

Games and PE: For health and safety reasons all children need suitable clothes to change into for games and P.E: PE shoes (plimsolls), shorts, tee-shirt, socks. Tracksuit or sweatshirt and jogging bottoms are useful when games are played in colder weather. PE bag (for keeping clothes and shoes in). Footwear, including trainers, worn normally to school cannot be worn for gym or apparatus work for obvious health and safety reasons. Also for safety reasons long hair should be tied back for all sporting activities.

Jewellery and Valuables: Earrings, jewellery, watches and hair bands will be the responsibility of the owner and must be removed and handed in before PE. Children are not allowed to bring mobile telephones to school.

School sweatshirts, jogging trousers and tee-shirts can be purchased through the school. Other uniform items are easily obtained from local chain stores.
