What role do the governors have? What does our SEND governor do?

Governors have a responsibility to hold the school to account for the effectiveness of the education provided. They review anonymous attainment and progress data, which includes reference to groups such as children with SEND. Governors review policy, visit the school and meet with the teachers and teaching assistants.

The SEND governor meets with the SENCO and monitors the implementation of the policy.
