This term our topic is 'Old MacDonald had a Farm' and while we will unfortunately not be able to visit one, we are going to learn lots about animals and plants you may find on a farm.
This week for your science activity I would like you to sing the song and think about what other animals you might find on a farm. Below is a link to the BBC Radio version of the song to help you. Can you add other animals to the song? You could change the animals completely if you liked or even the name of the farmer. Mine would be 'Old Ms Ingram had a Farm' and I would probably have lots of dogs, horses and ducks.

Once you have played around with the song I would like you to find out and match the names of adult, mummy animals with the names of their babies. You can draw pictures in your Busy Books and write the labels or, if you can print things at home, I have added some matching cards for you to use.
